Results of survey of three-year-old children 2013

This summary report and associated tables present the results of standardised dental examinations of three-year-old children attending private and state funded nurseries, nursery classes attached to schools and playgroups across England during the 2012/13 school year. This is the first national survey of this age group. The tables provide details of total three-year-old population, number of children examined, along with weighted values for a number of dental and oral health indicators for local authorities. Data and associated confidence intervals are presented at national, government regional, upper and lower-tier local authority and PHE centre level. Please note that data for the North West were collected during the 2010-11 school year but have been amalgamated with the data from the rest of England from 2012/13.
