Increasingly, health data and other data are required consistently and comparatively at the local (small area) level to inform and empower local communities to improve their health and to support Directors of Public Health in promoting health in their local area.
Our analysis for Health Inequalities 2005 has drawn data together across various geographic areas, in particular Census Middle Super Output Area (MSOA), for the whole of the North West region. Along with other tools to access this information, we have produced this facility to provide health inequalities and wellbeing profiles by local area, and where possible provided comparisons to regional and national data.
