Commissioning for health services- your questions answered - March 17, 2010
 
The aim of this one day CPD event is to enable commissioners to assess public health needs and commission high quality health services.
The event will work through good practice – from an understanding of legislation, appropriate procurement practice, the tendering process, specification writing and mobilisation planning to contract handover.
The day will commence with an overview of some of the tools that can be used in order to assess health needs, such as health impact assessment and health needs assessment.

A new year, a new start for positive mental health and wellbeing – January 27, 2010
The aim of this CPD event is to raise awareness of the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing, to explore good practice and opportunities to expand current working practices in this area.
