Welcome to ChaMPs Public Health Network

We are the public health network for Cheshire and Merseyside primary care trusts, local authorities, NHS trusts and wider health organisations. We recognise that when everyone contributes, everyone benefits as we build partnerships to improve the health of the population. By working smarter together, we share knowledge and expertise, develop effective professional relationships and learn together through CPD.

How to get involved

To get involved in the network, receive a weekly ChaMPs Bulletin and gain full website membership, email Vivienne Martindale or ring 0151 488 7776 for more information.

Invest to save – guidance for
commissioning primary prevention

This guide is aimed at all those engaged in practice-based commissioning, including commissioning staff, general practitioners and primary care practitioners.

It provides simple and clear signposts to how practice-based commissioning may be able to keep people healthier for longer, reduce the demand on services and release funds to invest in areas of greater need.
