Terms of Reference

The Steering Group will support the vision of the NWPHTN and will meet quarterly to lead and develop the network to: 

  • review the progress of network deliverables agreed with the Department of Health, 2006

  • identify regional and zonal priorities for actions to improve the health of the public in the north west

  • consider proposals for regional projects and initiatives and make recommendations

  • exploit congruences and cement collaborations which will increase public health capacity, knowledge transfer and evaluative practice

  • ensure that procedures and processes adhere to good governance practice
